Joining the student council is usually the perfect way to stand out in school, but when you do it just to not fail the year and end up surrounded by the most eccentric classmates on campus, school life becomes an absolute comic disaster. The animated adaptation of the manga Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru! (Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!) presented its second official trailer to confirm that its television premiere is scheduled for October 3.

The new video trailer allowed for the first time to hear the closing theme titled "Pi", performed by popular singer Akari Nanawo and written by Sho Yamamoto. The artist commented that the song perfectly captures the overflowing personalities of each of the members of the student council, playing with an addictive and catchy rhythm. This musical piece will accompany the opening theme "Kaze no Naka wa Hashirukkya Inai", which is performed by the musical project Sangatsu no Phantasia.

In the voice section, the production has an all-star cast led by Shogo Sakata as the troubled Mizunoe Ume, Haruka Shiraishi in the role of Hisako Kotobuki, Miyu Tomita giving life to Komaro Michinoku, Hiyori Kono as Tan Otori, Shizuka Ishigami playing Arisu Terui and Yumi Uchiyama as Satomi Hiratsuka.

Behind the scenes, the Passione studio leads animation under the general direction of Naoyuki Tatsuwa, remembered for his work on series such as Nisekoi and Gourmet Girl Graffiti. Character design and lead animation are being handled by Ryo Imamura, while Masahiro Yokotani is supervising and writing the scripts following his acclaimed work on Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! and Re:ZERO. The soundtrack is composed by Tomoki Kikuya, backed by a talented group of main animators including Kay Yu, Kona Ming and Asatoshi Oki.

About Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru!

Written and illustrated by Muchimaro, the original manga in four-panel format began publication in the pages of Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2022, managing to win first place in the paper category at the Next Manga Awards in 2023. The story follows Mizunoe Ume, a high school student with excellent grades in literature but dismal performance in science. To avoid repeating the year, he decides to join his school's student council, discovering too late that his classmates are a bunch of lovable madmen with personalities ranging from outright naivety to hidden perversions.
