All office
romantic comedies have to come to an end sooner or later, and this will be no
exception. To the surprise of those who enjoyed the daily attentions of the
shortest senpai in the working world, author Saisou announced that his
popular manga My Tiny Senpai (Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no
Hanashi) will formally end with the publication of its fourteenth
compilation volume in April of next year.
The
announcement was made at the same time as the release of volume number thirteen
by the publisher Takeshobo, confirming that the work has just one more volume
ahead of it to resolve once and for all the feelings of the main couple. The
manga's trajectory has been quite constant since its debut in April 2020
through the Storia Dash web platform, having subsequently migrated to the
Takecomic site in October 2025 to face its final stretch.
Thanks to
the enormous acceptance of the public for its sweet and innocent moments, the
franchise managed to expand its horizons far beyond the role. In July 2023 he
made the big leap to television with a twelve-episode anime adaptation, while
in January 2025 he surprised fans with the premiere of a series in live-action
format that recreated the crazy and tender moments of the work environment.
Created and
illustrated by Saisou, the story follows the day-to-day life of Takuma
Shinozaki, a young rookie trying to survive the work routine. Everything
becomes much more enjoyable thanks to the presence of Shiori Katase, an
extremely short, cute and attentive senpai who loves to pamper and congratulate
her kohai for any achievement. Although the chemistry between the two is
evident to the entire department, including Chief Akina and his partner
Hayakawa, the two have a hard time taking the final step to declare their love.
