LiSA's “Gurenge” track is now the third most downloaded song in Japan

The Japanese website Oricon reported that the single "Gurenge" performed by LiSA ranked third in the "Top Weekly Downloads" for the period from June 1 to 7, with a total of 16,859 cumulative downloads. With this result, the song has surpassed the Official HiGE DANdism single “Pretender”, and has taken the position of the third most downloaded song in the history of Oricon listings, with a total of 903,857 accumulated downloads.


In addition, since December, "Gurenge" has been positioned within the aforementioned list for a total of 27 consecutive weeks and, in general, it has been positioned on this same list for 44 weeks in total since its launch in April 2019. The singer thanked her fans for supporting this song and promised to continue delivering singles that excite those who listen to them.

The LiSA song was used as the opening theme song for the anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge's manga Kimetsu no Yaiba. The single was released digitally in April 2019 prior to its CD release in July 2019. This CD release sold over 100,000 copies. Finally, LiSA performed this song on Kouhaku Uta Gassen, Japan's most-watched music show, on December 31, 2019.
