Machikado Mazoku inspires a line of summer products1

On the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Izumi Itou, Machikado Mazoku, it was announced that the franchise will collaborate with the Princess Cafe coffee chain, specifically with establishments in Shinjuku and Osaka.


Additionally, inside the cafeterias you can buy a series of commemorative products, such as printed illustrations, acrylic stands and special key chains. The illustrations represent summer and are starring the girls from the series wearing seasonal outfits.

The first period of the collaboration will take place at the "Princess Cafe" located in the Marui Annex in Shinjuku between July 11 and 26, and then it will take place at the "Princess Cafe" of the Osaka Building between 8 and 30 July. August. The collaboration will conclude again in Shinjuku between September 19 and 30 this year.


For its part, Itou has published the manga in the Manga Time magazine Kirara Carat of the Houbunsha publisher since 2014. The publisher published the fifth compilation volume in June 2019.

The work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by J.C. Studios. Staff, under the direction of Hiroaki Sakurai and scripts written by Keiichirou Ouchi, released in July 2019.

Synopsis of Machikado Mazoku

The story follows Yuuko Yoshida, a 15-year-old girl who wakes up one morning with demonic magical abilities and who must defeat the magical girls of her city! Suddenly it has horns and a tail, but its strength does not exceed that of a normal girl. Aiming to break her curse for "40,000 yen per month," she sets off!
