One Piece will have recognized actors in its live-action series

Production of the live-action series based on the manga written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece, is reported to start very soon. Furthermore, when actor Christopher Sean was asked if he would play Zoro, he commented, "In fact, they (Netflix) are hiring great actors for this production."
Production team

Tomorrow Studios, a collaboration between producer Marty Adelstein (Prison Break, Teen Wolf) and ITV Studios, is producing this live-action series. Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) is the screenwriter and Steven Maeda and Becky Clements are also executive producers.

Adelstein stated in a video presented at the Jump Festa 2017 event that the live-action series would start in the "East Blue Saga" and that "it would continue from there." He also assured that the series will be "completely faithful to the original work" and it is confirmed that it will have a total of ten episodes. In fact, Netflix has already launched the official page of the adaptation (link) where it describes the series as "a story of pirates full of adventures with real actors based on the hit manga by Eiichiro Oda".

On the other hand, One Piece is a manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda and published in the Shueisha editorial Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since July 1997. The franchise has inspired multiple adaptations to other media, the main one being the anime that It has been broadcast since October 1999 and has been produced by Toei Animation Studios ever since.
