Muv-Luv franchise to host online event in July

On the official site for the Muv-Luv franchise, the holding of the event "Muv-Luv Expo: The Summer of (Muv) Luv" was announced for July 1.
According to the statement, developer aNCHOR planned to attend this year's edition of the Anime Expo event, however, it was canceled. That is why this event will be the way in which the developer will reveal the latest information on their projects, redirecting the resources of Anime Expo's original plan for the realization of an online event that any fan of the franchise can enjoy.

However, in addition to the completion date for July 1, no additional information was disclosed. According to a timer published on the site, new details about it will be revealed on June 19.

About Muv-Luv

After creating the visual novel Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, adult game developer Age released the first title in the Mub-Lub franchise in 2003, followed by the game Muv-Luv Alternative in 2006. The franchise has sold more than 500,000 copies and more than 3 million figures, mecha models and other products.

The spin-off novel Muv-Luve Alternative: Total Eclipse inspired an anime adaptation, and later also its prequel titled Schwarzesmarken was adapted for animation. The other visual novel, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien also inspired her own anime adaptation.
