On the
official site for the anime adaptation of the manga " Grand Blue ," it was announced
that the second season is scheduled to premiere on July 7 in Japan. The
release included a new promotional visual and listed details of the theme
songs, which include:
- Japanese reggae group Shonan
no Kaze will once again perform the opening theme song
" Seishun Towa ," but the unit Atarashii
Gakkō! Shōnan no Kaze will participate in the
production.
For his
part, Kenji Inoue began publishing the manga through
Kodansha's Good ! Afternoon magazine in April 2014,
with art by Kimitake Yoshioka . The work was adapted into an anime
by Zero-G studio and had twelve episodes broadcast in Summer
2018 (July-September) , and then had a live-action film released in
November 2019 in Japan.

Blue Synopsis
Iori
Kitahara moves to the coastal city of Izu for his first year of college and
takes up residence at Grand Blue, his uncle's diving shop. Iori has high hopes
and dreams of having the ideal college experience, but when he enters the shop
he becomes absorbed in the alcoholic activities of the carefree members of the
Diving Club who frequent the shop. Persuaded by upperclassmen Shinji Tokita and
Ryuujirou Kotobuki, Iori reluctantly joins their strange party.
His
cousin Chisa Kotegawa later walks in and catches him red-handed, earning Iori
her utter contempt. Based on the popular comic manga by Kenji Inoue and
Kimitake Yoshioka, Grand Blue follows Iori’s misadventures with his eccentric
new friends as he strives to realize his ideal college dream, all while
learning to scuba dive.
