Some companies have been in the mood for donations recently, probably due to recent social events. Now, The Pokémon Company International announced through its Twitter account the donation of five million dollars to charity.

Initially, the company announced it would donate $ 100,000 to the #BlackLivesMatter movement and another $ 100,000 to the NAACP. This confirmation was made after Niantic, the partner company behind Pokémon GO, promised a donation of at least $ 5 million from the proceeds of the virtual event "Pokémon GO Fest 2020", to support movements in favor of people of color and independent creators.
Following the Pokémon Go Fest 2020 event, this company teams up with Niantic and will also donate a minimum of $ 5 million to non-profit charities around the world.
Donations from The Pokémon Company will be directed primarily to improving children's living conditions, focusing on diversity, equity and inclusion.
