For all those fans who want to visit Okinawa this summer, they will be surprised that the movie Non Non Biyori Vacation will be available in cinemas from June 26 and two other cinemas will be added later on July 3.
The film was released for the first time on August 25 in a total of 27 Japanese theaters and shows us the story of the "Journey to Okinawa Arc" from the original manga.
The returning cast is as follows:
- Kotori Koiwai as Renge Miyauchi
- Rie Murakawa as Hotaru Ichijō
- Ayane Sakura as Natsumi Koshigaya
- Kana Asumi as Komari Koshigaya
- Kaori Nazuka as Kazuho Miyauchi
- Rina Satou as Kaede Kagayama
- Misato Fukuen as Hikage Miyauchi
- Ryoko Shintani as Konomi Fujimiya
The first season of Non Non Biyori premiered in 2013 and the anime currently has two seasons, two OVAS and one movie. Both seasons of the anime are available on Crunchyroll.
The latest project in the franchise was the movie Non Non Biyori Vacation which premiered in Japan on August 25.
Synopsis Non Non Biyori:
The story takes place in the rural town of Asahigaoka, where many of the amenities of big cities are several kilometers away and the local school consists of only five students, each of whom come from different grades of the elementary school and high school. Hotaru Ichijo, a fifth-grade elementary student from Tokyo, is transferred to Asahigaoka Branch School and must adjust to country life with her new friends.
