Urahata and Fujima began publishing the manga in Shueisha's V Jump magazine in November 2017, and the publisher published the second compilation volume in November 2019. The play entered an indefinite hiatus in August 2018 due to poor reporting. health of its author, but resumed soon after.
The work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Passione Studios, directed by Yoshifumi Sueda and scripts written by Tatsuhiko Urahata, released in October 2019.

The story of the original game unfolds in the not too distant future. Five "Black Dots" suddenly appeared around the world as portals to parallel worlds.
