For his part, Yukiwo published the manga on the Comic Meteor website of the Flex Comix publisher since April 2012. The publisher published the fourteenth compilation volume of the manga on April 11.
The work inspired a twelve episode anime adaptation produced by Nomad Studios, directed by Hikaru Sato and scripts written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu and Momoko Murakami, released in July 2018. A second season aired on Japanese television, with the same production team, since last April 6 and also published all its episodes simultaneously on the Amazon Prime Video platform.
