On the official site for the original Xebec studios series, Soukyuu no Fafner was revealed that episodes # 7 to # 9 of the Soukyuu no Fafner: The Beyond series will be released in theaters in Japan on November 13.
For its part, episodes 1 to 3 premiered on May 17, 2019, while episodes 4 to 6 premiered on November 8, 2019. The franchise began with the series Soukyuu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor released in July 2004 and which had 26 episodes. Subsequently, a season of OVAs titled Soukyuu no Fafner: Right of Left premiered in December 2005, followed by a movie titled Soukyuu no Fafner: Heaven and Earth released in December 2010. Finally, the series Soukyuu no Fafner: Exodus premiered. in January 2015 and had 26 episodes.

Synopsis of Soukyuu no Fafner
The franchise's overall story centers on a group of young people piloting the "Fafners" robots in a burgeoning war against giant aliens known as "Festum."
