Knight’s & Magic manga surpasses 2.6 million copies in circulation

On the official site for the manga illustrated by Takuji Katou, Knight’s & Magic, it was announced that the work has surpassed 2.6 million copies in circulation accumulated among its 12 compilation volumes. This series is an adaptation of the light novels written by Hisago Amazake-no.


Takuji Katou began publishing the manga in Square Enix publisher Young Gangan magazine in April 2016. The publisher published compilation volume number 12 on July 22.

On the other hand, the light novels that inspire the manga began to be published in 2013 by the Hero Bunko publishing label with 9 volumes published at the time. This novel was adapted for anime by 8-bit studios in 2017.

Synopsis of Knight’s & Magic

Knight’s & Magic is set in a world where medieval knights use gigantic robots called Silhouette Knights to fight demonic beasts, ravenous and magical animals that devour everything in sight. The protagonist is Tsubasa Kurata, a mecha otaku from Japan who dies in a car accident. Tsubasa reincarnates in this new parallel world as Ernesti "Eru" Echavalier, a child born to a noble family. Tsubasa's previous otaku memories inspire Ernesti to create his own Silhouette Knights to defend his kingdom.
