Kugutsu Senki anthology reveals new participating authors

In this year's ninth edition of Kodansha's Morning Two magazine it was revealed that authors Kamome Shirahama, Haruhisa Nakata, Mari Okazaki, Komatsu Yamamoto, Keito Yoshikawa, and Aki Yamamoto will draw stories for the new anthology project Kugutsu Senki– El The project will be launched in the next edition of the magazine, on August 21.


Shirahama wrote the Tongari Boushi no Atelier manga, which has been published in Kodansha publisher's Monthly Morning Two magazine since July 2016. The publisher published the seventh compilation volume on May 22.

Nakata began publishing the Levius manga in Shogakukan's Monthly Ikki magazine in January 2013, but ended it in September 2014 when the magazine ceased publication. The manga was then re-released in Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine under the title Levius / est in March 2015 and is still in publication. The publisher published the eighth compilation volume on July 17 and the manga inspired an anime released on Netflix in November 2019.
