LiSA to perform theme song from live-action series

Popular singer LiSA's new single, titled "Aijou" (the literal translation of "Prison of Love") was confirmed to be used as the theme song for the live-action series 13, which will premiere in Japan on June 1. August. This is the first time that the singer has participated in a Japanese television drama.
The series will be starred by Nanami Sakuraba (Sasha in Shingeki no Kyojin's live-action films) and is a Japanese remake of the drama series Thirtheen, produced in the UK in 2016. It will have a total of four episodes. On the other hand, the single "Aijou" will be released digitally on August 17.

About LiSA

She is a singer, writer and lyricist born in Gifu Prefecture in 1987. The singer works under the Sacra Music label of Sony Music Artists.

After aspiring to become a singer very early in her life, she began her musical career as the lead singer for the indie band Chucky. After the band's separation in 2005, LiSA moved to Tokyo to start her solo career, making her debut in 2010 singing on the Angel Beats series! as one of the two vocalists for the band "Girls Dead Monster".

The LiSA songs have been used for multiple animation series, highlighting Fate / Zero, Sword Art Online, and Kimetsu no Yaiba. Their singles regularly dominate the top Oricon downloads, with "Crossing Field" receiving a platinum certification and "Oath Sign" receiving a gold certification.
