In this year's 35th edition of Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine, it was announced that the spin-off manga written and illustrated by Yu Hayato, Yamikin Ushijima-kun Gaiden: Nikumamushi Densetsu, will resume this summer.
The work entered into an indefinite pause from April 2019, but returned in the summer of the same year. Hayato began publishing the manga in the online magazine Yawaraka Spirits in February 2017, and is a spin-off of the manga written and illustrated by Shohei Manabe, Yamikin Ushijima-kun, focusing on the character Nikumamushi. The publisher published the ninth compilation volume on July 30.
On the other hand, Manabe published the original manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine between 2004 and March 2019. The publisher compiled the work in a total of 46 volumes, publishing the last one in May 2019.
Synopsis of Yamikin Ushijima-kun
The manga represents the human drama in the world of the black market. Ushijima runs Kaukau Finance, an organization that lends money at an illegal interest rate: "Togo" or 50% every 10 days. In this work, the reader will know how the black market works, and how people can become so dangerous when they are related to this type of business.
