Hololive deletes multiple videos for copyright claims

Cover Corp, the company behind the YouTubers Virtual agency Hololive Production, has issued an official apology for uploading content without copyright permission. According to the statement, the company received notifications that it had violated video copyright of several of its YouTubers, which led to a large number of them being removed.


In order to properly continue their streaming activities, a fair amount of videos from many of Hololive's Virtual YouTubers channels have been privately removed or removed, and only those that have been authorized by the copyright owners Author will be restored to public domain.

"This problem occurred due to our mismanagement and negligence," the statement said. "For causing these kinds of repeated inconveniences and concerns, we extend our sincere apologies to those who work with us and our fans."

The company also promised to take more precautions from management to ensure that a similar incident does not occur. Many Virtual YouTubers, including those that are affiliated with Hololive, upload live videos while playing video games. In June, the company issued a formal apology to Nintendo for not following the broadcast guidelines. Fans keep a chart that tracks the number of public videos that were currently changed to "private" or deleted since this issue occurred.

Furthermore, Cover Corp was founded in 2016, and the Hololive Production project was established in 2017.
