Through the official website for the Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight franchise, it was revealed on Wednesday that their Ensoku no Revue event, which was planned to take place on July 25 and 26 in the cities of Tokyo and Osaka, were held to cancel due to circumstances "beyond the control of the organizing company". The events were to be attended by voice actresses Suzuko Mimori, Momoyo Koyama, Maho Tomita, Teru Ikuta and Ayasa Ito.

Shortly after it was announced by the same organizer that some emails with threats of fire against one of the venues where the event was going to take place as well as against the participating artists and attendees, were sent to the town hall of Osaka. For this reason, city officials decided to revoke the permit and close the property until the due investigations were completed.

Recall that this franchise will have a compilation film soon to be released under the title Shoujo ☆ Kageki Revue Starlight: Rondo Rondo Rondo. Subsequently, a totally original film will be released whose release date has not yet been revealed.

Sora Goto and Kanata Nakamura began publishing the Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight Overture manga, the first in the franchise, in Kadokawa's Dengeki G's Comic magazine in January 2018 and ended last year. The franchise also includes the Butai Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight ―The LIVE― SHOW MUST GO ON and Yonkoma Starlight manga.
