Asahi Broadcasting Acquires SILVER LINK Studios

The Asahi Broadcasting Group Holdings company announced that it has acquired animation studio SILVER LINK as its subsidiary. It is worth mentioning that the studios recently took over its subsidiary, the CONNECT studios, and dissolved this company.



Silver Link Studios was established in December 2007, when they became independent from the Frontline company. Some of the most relevant works in this study include Fate / kaleid liner Prisma Illya 3rei !!, Strike the Blood, Yurikuma Arashi, Mitsuboshi Colors, Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku, Non Non Biyori, Kokoro Connect, Masamune-kun no Revenge, and Watamote. The company recently produced the BOFURI series: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense, Hamefura and the broadcast series Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha, as well as the Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou series, Arui wa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen. Finally, Silver Link produced the Two Car anime in 2017, commemorating its tenth anniversary.

For its part, Asahi Broadcasting Group Holdings bought the majority of the shares of animation studios DLE Inc., in May 2019, making it its subsidiary. Additionally, the planning division, ABC Animation, announced the founding of a CG animation studio in June.
