Iwahara (character designer for Darker than BLACK - Kuro no Keiyakusha, author of Ibara no Ou) finalized publication of the Dimension W manga in June 2019. Iwahara began publication of this manga series in Square publisher's Young Gangan magazine Enix in 2011, and subsequently moved it to Monthly Big Gangan magazine in December 2015. The publisher published the 16th and final compiled volume in August 2019.
The play inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Studio 3Hz in collaboration with Orange Studios, directed by Kanta Kamei and scripts written by Shoutarou Suga, released in January 2016.
Clevatess Synopsis - Majuu no Ou to Akago to Kabane no Yuusha
The manga's story centers on the Clevatess, the lord of all magical beasts who possesses an astonishing intellect and incredible destructive power. Frustrated by the thirteen heroes tasked with destroying him, he decides to exterminate humanity once and for all. However, he has been tasked with a great nuisance: caring for a newborn human baby. Now that the human world faces its Armageddon, the Clevatess must raise a small child in the process.
