Actress Ayami Nakajo stars in animated ice cream commercial

The ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs published its first animated commercial in Japan, which began to be distributed on television since August 7. Additionally, the Japanese division of the brand published the commercial through its official YouTube channel.


The 15-second short shows an animated version of the model and actress Ayami Nakajo (live-actions of Fatal Frame, Nisekoi), who was also in charge of the narration. Nakajo is shown enjoying vanilla ice cream while gazing out over the city landscape. The ad also features the theme song “La La Life”, performed by Alisa (one of the Carole & Tuesday singers).

The commercial will continue to air in Japan until August 16, and is promoting the new flavor of rum with raisins, which was introduced as a standard flavor in Japanese stores since August 4.
