In the first compilation volume of this manga it had already been confirmed that the work would end with its second volume. This manga is a sequel to Mihara's work, Dokuhime. The sequel has been published in the Nemuki Plus magazine of the Asahi Shimbun Publications publishing house since April 2017. For its part, the original manga ended in 2012, and the publisher compiled the work in a total of five volumes.

Synopsis of Dokuhime no Hitsugi

It all starts with poisonous herbs under his crib. Then under your sheets and inside your clothes. Even mixed with the milk they give the newborn. In this way, the child gradually becomes accustomed to poisons and becomes the perfect murderous tool: the "Princess of Poison", to whom every kiss, tear, and even touch will bring death.

Her only chance of survival is to fulfill her duty as an assassin and find a way to live in the enemy land to which she is sent. But your heart is not immune to the most toxic poison it has yet to experience: love.
