The movie Fate / Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel III. Spring Song to premiere in 4D theaters in Japan

On the official site for the Fate / Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel film project, it was announced that the film Fate / Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel III. Spring Song will have a 4D screen release in 82 theaters in Japan, starting on September 4.


The film opened in Japan on August 15, and made its first-grossing debut during its opening weekend. The movie sold 270,000 tickets, for a total of 474,890,600 yen (approximately $ 4.48 million) in revenue.

The film was originally scheduled to open on March 28, but was delayed twice due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The first film, Fate / stay night: Heaven’s Feel I. Presage Flower, opened on October 14, 2017 in Japan. The second film, Fate / stay night: Heaven’s Feel II. Lost Butterfly premiered in January 2019.

Fate / Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel Synopsis

The Holy Grail War - A violent battle between wizards in which seven masters and their Servants fight for the Holy Grail, a magical artifact that can grant the victor any wish. Almost 10 years ago, the final battle of the Fourth Holy Grail War wreaked havoc on the city of Fuyuki, claiming over 500 lives, leaving the city devastated.

Shirou Emiya, a survivor of this tragedy, aspires to become a hero of justice like his savior and adoptive father, Kiritsugu Emiya. Despite being just a student, Shirou is thrown into the Fifth Holy Grail War when he accidentally sees a battle between Servants at school and summons his own Servant, Saber. When a mysterious shadow starts a murder spree in Fuyuki City, Shirou teams up with Rin Tohsaka, a fellow participant in the Holy Grail War, to stop the deaths of countless people. However, Shirou's feelings for his close friend Sakura Matou lead him to delve into the dark secrets surrounding the war and the families involved.
