The developer Neko Works had already announced on September 10 that the game would be released on November 27 for PC via Steam. The platform lists the launch with Japanese audio and texts available in English and Traditional Chinese, in addition to Japanese.
The adult visual novel series released its first volume in December 2014 and is inspired by a world where humans live with cat girls, known as "Nekos." In addition, the play inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Felix Film studios, under the direction of Yasutaka Yamamoto and scripts written by Gou Zappa, released in January 2020.
