While the synopsis for this new play has not been revealed, Haruba had already pointed out during an earlier interview that he wanted to move away from the rom-com genre in his next work. Thus, as the title suggests (sentai), the work will be centered on the theme of superheroes.
Gotoubun no hanayome
On the other hand, Haruba published the Gotoubun no Hanayome manga in Kodansha publishing house's Weekly Shonen Magazine between August 2017 and February 2020. The publisher compiled the work in a total of fourteen volumes and in April 2020 reprinting began at color of the work directly in volume format, with the tenth released on January 18.
The play inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Tezuka Productions studios under the direction of Satoshi Kuwabara and released in January 2019. A second season is produced by Bibury Animation Studios and is currently on air in Japan.
Synopsis of Gotoubun no Hanayome
One day, poor high school student Fuutarou Uesugi receives a job as a tutor with excellent pay. An excellent opportunity to make money, right? Well, it turns out that his tutee is his classmate! And he will not only teach her but also her four sisters! Yes! They are quintuplets! They are all beautiful, but unlike their appearances, their attitudes are completely different. Will Fuutarou be able to get the Nakano quintuplets to graduate from high school successfully? Will he fall in love with any of them?
