In the March issue of Monthly Comic Alive magazine it was announced that the light novel series written by Kei Kazane and illustrated by Toiro Tomose, Kami wa Game ni Ueteiru, will be adapted into manga. The announcement in question did not give more details about who will be the artist who will be in charge of the serialization nor the release date for this new project.
The first volume of the novels was published on January 25 by the Media Factory publishing label.
The plot of the novels centers on gods who have too much free time. To entertain themselves, they decide to create a mysterious game in which mortals can challenge them. Reche, a former goddess, decides to go to the world of humans to find the strongest person who can compete worthily with the gods and ends up choosing a young rookie named Key.
Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen
Kei Kazane, author of the novels in question, is recognized for being the creator of the Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou franchise, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen, which has light novels, a manga adaptation and a recent adaptation to the anime premiered on October 7, 2020.
