ARIA the BENEDIZIONE movie reveals its first details

On the official website for the new animation project based on the manga written and illustrated by Kozue Amano, ARIA, the first promotional video for the film ARIA The BENEDIZIONE was revealed, a feature film that will end the trilogy composed of the titles ARIA the Avvenire and ARIA the Crepuscolo. Likewise, it was announced that this film will be released next winter in theaters in Japan.


On the other hand, the first visual for the film was also published.


The film ARIA The CREPUSCOLO premiered on March 15 and has a duration of sixty minutes. The direct sequel ARIA The AVVENIRE has its premiere scheduled for next September 26. Amano published the original manga in Mag Garden publisher's Comic Blade magazine between November 2002 and April 2008, as a sequel to the AQUA manga. The publisher compiled the work in a total of twelve volumes.


The manga inspired a thirteen episode anime adaptation released in October 2005, and produced by Hai Film Maker Studios. Subsequently, there were two additional seasons released in April 2006 and January 2008.


ARIA Synopsis


The story takes place in the XXIV century, in the city of Neo-Venezia, on the planet Aqua. This planet was formerly Mars, which was renamed after it became a habitable planet covered almost entirely by oceans. Neo-Venezia is a port city with canals instead of streets, which are traversed by gondolas. The plot centers on Akari, a girl who abandons everything on Earth to move to Aqua and fulfill her dream of becoming a gondolier. Will she be able to overcome all the challenges that her dream entails?
