The official site for the multimedia franchise based on the manga Kaguya-sama: Love is War (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen) announced the release of a board game produced and distributed by the company Tsukishima Factory.

The board game, titled Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Saiji Gekijo-sen, will be a four-player installment where players are assigned one of the main characters - Kaguya Shinomiya, Miyuki Shirogane, Chika Fujiwara and Yuu Ishigami - and will play their different personalities. A Monday-Friday time progression will unfold within the installment, and players will advance with the use of dice to obtain cards that will award or remove points based on the events written on them. The product is available for pre-order at a price of 4,950 yen (about $47).

About Kaguya-sama: Love is War

It is a manga written and illustrated by Aka Akasaka that has been published through Shueisha Publishing House's Weekly Young Jump magazine since May 2015. The publisher published the twentieth compilation volume last November 19 in Japan.

In addition to several spin-off manga, the work also inspired a twelve-episode animated adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures Studios, under the direction of Shinichi Omata and scripts written by Yasuhiro Nakanishi, released in January 2019. A second season of twelve episodes premiered in April 2020, and an OVA is confirmed for this year and a third season for an as yet unspecified date.
