The cover of this year's ninth issue of Good! Afternoon announced that the manga written and illustrated by TNSK , Uchi no Shishou wa Shippo ga Nai ( My Master Has No Tail ), will be getting an anime adaptation. More information is expected at the magazine's launch date, scheduled for August 5 in Japan

For its part, TNSK began publishing the manga through Good! Afternoon by Kodansha publisher in January 2019. The publisher published the fourth compiled volume in October 2020, followed by the fifth on March 5 in Japan. Previously, a promotional video was produced by Torpedo Eizou and with the voice acting of Kaede Yuasa , however, this element was made for the promotion of the manga when there was no indication of an animated adaptation.

Sinopsis de Uchi no Shishou wa Shippo ga Nai

Mameda is a tanuki girl (raccoon girl) who dreams of one day becoming a human. Disguised as a human girl, she travels to the great city of Osaka and tries to fool a beautiful black-haired woman, but is instantly discovered! The beautiful woman, who told the depressed Mameda to return to her village mercilessly, introduced herself as a performer of rakugo (a type of Japanese entertainment based on humorous monologues). The doors of comedy have been opened in the life of the raccoon girl! A fantasy that will make you smile with each new chapter has just begun!
