On the day of the birthday of the virtual idol of Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku, companies SEGA and Colorful Palette announced that the video game for smartphones Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku will have a global release. The launch will take place this year in English.
The original video game is a collaboration between SEGA, Crypton Future Media, and Colorful Palette , and was originally released on September 30, 2020 in Japan, followed by an Asian release scheduled for this month. This title is a spin-off of the SEGA video game series, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA, and features the participation of virtual singers Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin & Len, Meiko and Kaito, along with a cast of twenty human characters.

Hatsune Miku: COLORFUL STAGE! is a rhythm game starring Hatsune Miku and her virtual friends, including virtual singers like Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, KAITO and MEIKO. Players will discover a cast of twenty original characters, divided into five groups, each with their own musical style and their own story. Hatsune Miku's biggest hits, including kz's “Tell Your World,” ryo's “Melt,” and Mikito-P's “ROKI,” as well as new songs produced for the game, will appear in-game.
Players will play to the beat and face challenges with five different difficulty modes for each track that can be played alone or with friends. By earning rewards and experience for completing challenges, players will be able to level up and unlock additional character cards through the gacha system. Unique to Hatsune Miku: COLORFUL STAGE !, players can take part in virtual live performances of their favorite in-game groups and network with the community, participate in online events, and earn rewards such as exclusive stamps.
