It's almost
here! As we mentioned in our previous news , " Chainsaw Man
the Movie: Reze Arc " is set to hit theaters in Japan on
September 19. But now there are even more details to share: Sony
Pictures Entertainment has confirmed that the film will be coming to over 80
countries and territories, including Latin America!
The film
will premiere in Japan on September 19, 2025, and then expand
internationally. Here are the confirmed dates for selected
countries:

19, 2025 – Japan.

24, 2025 – Hong Kong.
- September
25, 2025 – Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand.
- September 26, 2025 – India, Indonesia,
Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam.

22, 2025 – France.
- October 29, 2025 – United States,
Bulgaria, Finland, Greece, Iceland, Nigeria, Sweden, United Kingdom,
Germany, Belgium.
- October 30, 2025 – Croatia, Denmark,
Hungary, Middle East, Netherlands, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Israel,
Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Brazil,
Argentina, Bolivia, Central America, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru,
Uruguay, Venezuela, Latvia, South Africa, Estonia, Spain.
While
these are the official dates, the announcement suggests that more countries
will also be able to enjoy the film , so stay tuned for future announcements!

- The Chainsaw Man anime
premiered in the Fall 2022 season, with a total of twelve episodes. As for the manga, its
creator, Tatsuki Fujimoto, began serializing it in Shueisha's Weekly
Shonen Jump magazine in December 2018, concluding the first part in
December 2020. The continuation of the story began serialization
in July 2022 through the digital platform Shonen Jump Plus.
- Regarding the voice cast,
performers such as Kikunosuke Toya, Fairouz Ai, Shogo Sakata,
Tomori Kusunoki, Reina Ueda, Mariya Ise, Kenjirou Tsuda, Shiori Izawa,
Daiki Hamano and You Taichi stand out.
- The anime was directed by Tatsuya
Yoshihara at MAPPA , with script supervision
by Hiroshi Seko , and character designs and animation
direction by Souta Yamazaki and Kazutaka Sugiyama .
Music composition was by Kensuke Ushio .
- The plot follows Denji, a young
man struggling to survive by hunting demons and paying off his debts. His
life takes a radical turn when he fuses with Pochita, his trusted chainsaw
demon. After becoming Chainsaw Man, Denji joins the Special Demon Slayer Division,
facing even more powerful enemies as he begins to unravel the dark secrets
of his world.
