A recent leak from well-known leaker " @/SugoiLITE " claimed that the anime adaptation of the light novels " Gimai Seikatsu ( Days with My Step Sister )" will have a second season. Although the information is not officially confirmed, author Ghost Mikawa previously reported that he has some important announcements to make this week, although it is not yet known if they are related to this franchise.

In fact, the author took to social media to "deny" the leak, stating that "no decision has been made regarding a second season." However, considering the excellent reputation of "@/SugoiLITE" and the fact that the author could never confirm a leak, the possibility of the leak being real is very high.

While we wait for the leak to be confirmed or not, why not check out the details of the franchise?

  • Gimai Seikatsu ( Days with My Step Sister )" is a multimedia project that began on YouTube, and then as a novel by author Ghost Mikawa , which has been published since January 2021 through Kadokawa 's MF Bunko J publishing label . Additionally, a manga adaptation by Yumika Kanade is also currently being serialized.

  • The manga adaptation by Studio Deen was directed by Sota Ueno , with Mitsutaka Hirota in charge of the script and Manabu Nii in character designs. The adaptation had a total of twelve episodes, broadcast during the period Summer-2024 (July-September) .

  • The voice cast consists of Yuki Nakashima as Saki Ayase, Kohei Amasaki as Yuta Asamura, Minori Suzuki as Shiori Yomiuri, Ayu Suzuki as Maaya Narasaka, and Daiki Hamano as Tomokazu Maru.

  • The story begins when Yuta Asamura's father remarries, and Yuta ends up sharing a home with his new stepsister, Saki Ayase, the most popular girl in his grade. Both scarred by their parents' troubled divorces, they vow to maintain a respectful distance. However, what begins as a relationship of cautious camaraderie grows deeper due to their shared experiences. Is it admiration, familial love, or something more?
