On the
official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Rokuro
Uraji and illustrated by Saburou , " In
a World Filled with Zombies, I'm the Only One They Won't Attack ( Zombie
no Afureta Sekai de Ore dake ga Osowarenai )", it was listed that
the premiere is scheduled for the year 2026 in Japan.
Few details
are known about this adaptation, but given that it is listed that the
series will be broadcast on the AT-X channel and that the original story is of
an adult nature , it is understood that consideration is being given
to respecting the spicy content of the source work.
In the
meantime, why not check out the details of the franchise?
- The "zombie-fueled
action-packed story" began in January 2013, when Uraji published it
in the R18 version of the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou. The series ran until
2017, when it concluded. Between 2016 and 2017, Frontier Works released
three physical volumes with illustrations by Saburou, bringing this
zombie-ridden world to life.
- In June 2021, Chihiro
Masuda released a manga adaptation based on Uraji's novel. Frontier
Works continues to publish the series, and the fourth volume will
be released this Friday, continuing the story in a new format for fans.
- In a world suddenly invaded by
zombies, Takemura, the protagonist, has a peculiarity: he's the
only one the zombies don't attack. While in a typical zombie
movie he would use this to fight them off, Takemura prefers to follow his
own desires, giving this "zombie panic" plot an unexpected
twist.
