Forget the
typical cliché of the naïve girl who spends her time waiting for her prince
charming to save her in an otome game. The anime adaptation of Otome Game no
Heroine by Saikyo Survival (The Otome Heroine's Fight for Survival)
has just shown its first official trailers, confirming that little Alice will
arrive on television in July 2027 with a story where brutal survival is
everything.
The project
revealed its first trailer and promotional image along with the creative team
behind the production. Voice actress Fuuka Izumi will be in charge of
giving life to Alicia, the brave protagonist who refuses to follow the script
of her own life. In the production, the direction of Noriyoshi Sasaki
stands out, working in collaboration between the studios Studio Clutch
and Seven. For his part, Toko Machida is in charge of supervising
and writing the scripts, while Hiroyuki Miseki is in charge of character
design. The soundtrack promises to be a very strong point thanks to the joint
work of composers Kohta Yamamoto, Shun Narita and Yuki
Furuhashi.
The plot
introduces us to Alice, a girl who is orphaned after the ruthless attack of a
monster on her village. After surviving three hard years in an orphanage, the
little girl decides to escape, running into a mysterious woman who tries to
murder her on her run. In the middle of the fight, Alicia comes into contact
with a strange crystal that grants her colossal knowledge, transforming her
childish personality into a cold, calculating, and analytical mind. Realizing
that she is destined to be the heroine of an Otome video game, Alice suddenly
rejects that role and decides to strengthen herself at any cost, learning to
fend for herself in a wild world with the help of a stranger in the forest.
About
Otome Game no Heroine by Saikyo Survival
Saikyo
Survival's Otome Game no Heroine is a series of fantasy-action light novels written by Biyori
Harunohi and illustrated by Yu Hitaki. The story was originally born
on the Shosetsuka ni Naro web portal in March 2019, making the leap to the
printed format in April 2021 with eleven compilation volumes published to date.
The
franchise also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Kobato Wakasa, which has
been serialized since August 2021 and is preparing to release its ninth
compilation volume this October. After its initial announcement in early 2025,
this animated adaptation is shaping up to be one of the darkest and most direct
fantasy proposals for summer 2027.
