During transmission " Extreme Progress Report # 00 " was announced that the new draft Akatsuki and Too Kyo Games , Tribe Nine , include an anime for television, a video game for smartphones and webtoon. A promotional video confirmed that the anime's premiere is scheduled for January 2022 in Japan.
The project was announced since February 2020 with multiple original members of the Danganronpa franchise production . During the event, a promotional video was also shared for what will be the project's video game for smartphones.
Tribe Nine Synopsis
Akatsuki and Too Kyo Games describe the project set in "20XX in the country of Neo Too Kyo", where young people form tribes after the collapse of society: This title is set in a fictional place that resembles the twenty-three districts of Tokyo , with gangs of outlaws from every district fighting for prestige through extreme baseball.
