The illustrator of franchises such as One Punch Man and Eyeshield 21 , Yuusuke Murata , published “ Go! Saitama “, an animated short for the One Punch Man franchise Murata directed this short without dialogue and also handled production with his team at Village Studio . The short film follows Saitama after discovering a sale of 1 yen (approximately $ 0.01) of high-quality meat, but the sale ends at 5:00 p.m. the same day.

Murata apologized for not being able to publish a new chapter of the manga " due to various circumstances " and therefore published the animation short to compensate his fans for their patience. He hopes to learn more skills in adding voices, music, and sound effects to his animation efforts. He added that he would like to do not only animation for One Punch Man , but also for other works

ONE began publishing the manga independently in 2009, and subsequently Yuusuke Murata began its publication as a manga on Shueisha publishing's Tonari no Young Jump service in June 2012, with a total of twenty-three compilation volumes published to date. .

The play inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Madhouse Studios and released in October 2015, followed by a twelve-episode second season produced by JCSTAFF Studios and released in April 2019. A total of twelve have also been produced. OVAs and a live-action film adaptation are in production in Hollywood.

One Punch Man Synopsis

Seemingly ordinary and unimpressive Saitama has a rather unique hobby: being a hero. To pursue his childhood dream, he trained relentlessly for three years and lost all of his hair in the process. Now, Saitama is incredibly powerful, so much so that no enemy can defeat him in battle. He is so powerful that he only needs to strike one hit to defeat his enemies, due to this he is no longer able to enjoy the thrill of battle and has become quite boring.

All this changes with the arrival of Genos, a 19-year-old cyborg, who wishes to be Saitama's disciple after seeing what he is capable of. Genos proposes that the two join the Hero Association to become certified heroes who will be recognized for their positive contributions to society, and Saitama, surprised that no one knows who he is, quickly agrees. And so begins the story of One Punch Man, an action comedy that follows an eccentric individual who yearns to fight strong enemies who can hopefully give him the excitement he once felt and only maybe, he will become popular in the process.
