Through the official website for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Daisuke Hiyama , Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan ( Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time ), it was announced that the second season of the series, which will be titled Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan: Super Extra will premiere on October 9 on Japanese television.
The opening theme for this sequel will be titled “Darkness Promise” and will be performed by virtual singer isekaijoucho .
Hiyama began publication of the manga in Futabasha 's Monthly Action magazine in August 2017. The publisher published the ninth compiled volume in November 2021. The first season of twelve episodes produced by Wolfs Bane studios , under the direction of Tatsumi and scripts written by Nora Mohri , released during the Summer-2020 season (July-September).
Synopsis for Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan
Earning the title of the world's strongest warrior, Peter Grill has finally proven his worth and is willing to take the hand of his beloved elder, the beautiful and innocent Luvelia Sanctos. Peter hopes to have a healthy relationship with her, despite some objections from her father. Unfortunately, this dream is quickly shattered when news of his great victory spreads among women of other races - ogres, orcs, elves and others - some of whom even compete for his seed to produce offspring blessed with his power. In order not to betray the trust of his beloved Luvelia and cause a scandal, Pedro tries hard to avoid the salacious advances of other women. However, pulling off such a feat with so many alluring women on his trail is easier said than done.
