During a special event held in Japan, where the first two episodes for the anime Bleach: Sennen Kessen-hen ( Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War ) premiered exclusively, it was officially announced that the series will premiere next 10 October on Japanese TV Tokyo. On the other hand, the Oricon website revealed that this anime project will consist of four cours (each cour regularly consists of 12-13 episodes), however, these will not be aired consecutively.
In addition, the American distributor VIZ Media shared a new promotional video for the series and reported that the series will be simulcast, which means that its broadcast on other platforms will not be delayed compared to the Japanese broadcast. However, the services where it can be enjoyed in the West have not yet been confirmed.
The artists who will perform the series' theme songs were also revealed. Singer Tatsuya Kitani will perform the opening theme song "Scar" , while Hiroyuki Sawano -produced singer SennaRin will perform the ending theme song "Saihatte (The Furtherest End)".
Synopsis for Bleach
Ichigo Kurosaki is an ordinary high school student, until his family is attacked by a Hollow, a corrupting spirit that seeks to devour human souls. It is then that he meets a Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki, who is injured while she is protecting Ichigo's family from the assailant. In order to save the family from him, Ichigo accepts Rukia's offer to take her powers and as a result, becomes a Soul Reaper.
However, with Rukia unable to regain her own power, Ichigo is faced with the daunting task of hunting down the Hollows plaguing his city. However, he is not alone in his fight, as he is later joined by his friends: classmates Orihime Inoue, Yasutora Sado, and Uryuu Ishida, who have their own unique abilities. As Ichigo and his comrades adjust to their new responsibilities and support each other on and off the battlefield, the young Soul Reaper will soon discover that the Hollows are just the least of his problems.
