On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Gege Akutami , Kimetsu no Yaiba , it was announced that the franchise will participate in the " Machi Asobi Vol.25 " event, which will take place on the 15th and 16th of October this year at Aibahama Park, in Tokushima prefecture in Japan.
According to the statement, the participation of the franchise is scheduled for October 15 at 10:10 a.m. (Japan time), with the participation of voice actors Natsuki Hanae , Katsuyuki Konishi and Yuma Takahashi , who will comment on the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen and will reveal new announcements about the franchise.
The second season premiered in December 2021 and had a total of eleven episodes, or eighteen if the seven from the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-hen are considered , which together make up the "second season project". The platforms Crunchyroll and Funimation are responsible for its distribution in the West in subtitled form, but have not made any announcement about the production of a Latin Spanish dub.
A third season, titled Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen ( Kimetsu no Yaiba: Swordsmith Village Arc ), is currently in production, but a scheduled premiere date is yet to be confirmed.
General synopsis of Kimetsu no Yaiba
Tanjirou Kamado lives with his impoverished family on a remote mountain. As his older brother, he took on the responsibility of providing for his family after the death of his father. On a cold winter day, he goes down to the local village to sell charcoal. At nightfall, he is forced to spend the night at the house of a curious man who warns him of the existence of strange creatures that roam the night: malevolent demons who crave human flesh.
When he finally gets home, Tanjirou's worst nightmare comes true. His entire family has been brutally slaughtered, with the sole exception of his sister Nezuko, who has turned into a carnivorous demon. Filled with hatred and despair, Tanjirou desperately tries to stop Nezuko from attacking other people, embarking on a journey to avenge his family and find a way to turn his beloved sister back into a human.
