Trigun Stampede Anime Announces Sequel

0

Following the broadcast of the twelfth and final episode of the Trigun Stampede anime , the new adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Yasuhiro Nightow , Trigun , the production of a new sequel was announced to complete the adaptation project. Although the announcement does not indicate the format of this sequel (season, film, OVAs), it had previously been leaked that " Trigun Stampede would have 24 episodes ", so it is most likely that it is a second season.

The production shared a special promotional video to announce this information, which uses the theme song “ Seija no Koushin ” performed by Salyu . This song served as the closing theme for the final episode of this first part.

The Crunchyroll platform is responsible for its distribution in the West. Nightow published the manga in Akita Shoten 's Monthly Shonen Captain magazine between May 1995 and February 1997. The publisher compiled the work into a total of three volumes. Subsequently, the author continued publication under the title Trigun Maximum in Shonengahosha 's Young King Ours magazine between December 1997 and May 2007, with a total of 14 published compilation volumes.

The work inspired a twenty-six episode anime adaptation produced by Madhouse studios , under the direction of Satoshi Nishimura and scripts written by Yousuke Kuroda, released in April 1998. With a total of seventeen filler episodes, Trigun has a high percentage of 65 percent infill.

Synopsis for Trigun Stampide

On Noman's planet Earth, reporters Meryl Stryfe and Roberto De Niro traverse the desert in search of the infamous outlaw Vash the Stampede. But the man they find near the desolate city of Jeneora Rock is a far cry from the deadly terrorist they expect. In reality, Vash is a carefree, passive drifter; he is a defender of peace, loved by the townspeople. His inaccurate reputation is actually due to the atrocities committed by his twin brother Knives Millions. Even so, Vash is nicknamed "The Humanoid Typhoon" due to the tendency to violent chaos that follows in his wake.

Chaos soon ensues in the form of bounty hunters seeking the hefty price on Vash's head, and their violent pursuit poses great danger to the city and its prized power plant. Thanks to his prowess with weapons, Vash is able to resist most of these nefarious forces. However, he will soon have to face the ultimate evil: the unstoppable destructive power of his malevolent brother.
