TV CHOSUN's upcoming weekend series “Mrs. Durian” has unveiled a new trailer!
“Mrs. Durian” is the latest project of famous screenwriter Phoebe (Im Sung Han), who has written “Princess Aurora”, “Dear Heaven”, “New Tales of Gisaeng” and “Love (Ft. Marriage And Divorce)”. The fantasy romance drama is a time-traveling story that follows the chaebol Dan family, who become entangled with two mysterious women.
The drama's wild teaser begins with someone from the Joseon Dynasty saying that the situation is urgent. Currently, Baek Do Yi (Choi Myung Gil) and his sons Dan Chi Gam (Kim Min Joon) and Dan Chi Gang (Jeon No Min) are enjoying a beautiful day outdoors, playing golf and horseback riding. .
Later, they are joined by Dan Chi Gam's wife Lee Eun Sung (Han Da Gam), Dan Chi Gang's wife Jang Se Mi (Yoon Hae Young), and their younger brother Dan Chi Jung (Ji Young San). ), while his mother, Baek Do Yi, happily states, “There is no separate heaven. This is exactly heaven."
However, things take an intriguing turn when Jang Se Mi leans in very close to her mother-in-law Baek Do Yi and says, “I love you. Not as your daughter-in-law, but as a woman."
Suddenly, the video flashes back in time to the Joseon Dynasty, where Kim So Jeo (Lee Da Yeon) rushes to tell his mother-in-law Du Ri An (Park Joo Mi) through tears, “Mother… maybe….” She responds to Kim So Jeo's urging by calmly asking, “What happened?”
As someone yells, “This is nonsense!” a bowl goes flying before smashing to the ground as Du Ri An watches with wide eyes. Late at night, Du Ri An hurriedly runs carrying only a lamp as she yells, “Stop right there!” She comes across something that makes her stop dead and ask, "What's that?" Kim So Jeo mysteriously replies, “Mother, I think my eyes are going to pop out.”
