The new SBS series “Revenant” written by famous screenwriter Kim Eun Hee is an occult mystery thriller in which a woman possessed by an evil spirit and a man who can see evil spirits inside human bodies investigate the mysterious deaths. surrounding five divine objects.
Kim Tae Ri plays Goo San Young, a part-time worker by day and a competitive student by night. She takes life with determination despite the harsh reality of it, doing her best to overcome all challenges. The new stills show the spectrum of characters that Kim Tae Ri has to play: one is Goo San Young, and another is the evil spirit. Goo San Young plays a normal opposition student who just wants to live a normal life like everyone else. Regarding her first thriller, Kim Tae Ri commented, “The fact that it was a genre that I had never tried before was what convinced me the most. Coincidentally, I have been exposed to a lot of occult material, but it was usually about western ghosts. However, 'Revenant' was fresh, intriguing, and most of all, it seemed fun as a Korean occult series.” As for portraying two different entities, she stated, “I focused on each situation. I tried to differentiate them through my actions because I had to channel different beings in an instant with the same face. I hope viewers will pay close attention to small acting details while watching the series.”
