Following the airing of the final episode of the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Kouji Seo , Megami no Café Terrace ( The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses ), the production of a second season of the project was announced. The press release confirmed that this second season will premiere in 2024 in Japan.
Kouji Seo began publishing the manga in Kodansha 's Weekly Shonen Magazine in February 2021. Kouji Seo is also the author of other popular works that have already inspired anime adaptations, including Fuuka , Kimi no Iru Machi (A Town Where You Live), and Suzuka , to name a few.
Synopsis for Megami no Café Terrace
Hayato Kasukabe has been accepted into the University of Tokyo on his first attempt. Upon receiving the news of his grandmother's death, he returns to his childhood home, the Café Terrace Familia, for the first time in three years to find there five strange girls claiming to be "grandma's family." . Hayato's unexpected life in a seaside town with these five girls of fate begins here!
