Angry mothers over waifu desecrated in a manga for girls

The manga section included in this year's eighth issue of Japan's Nico Petit (ニコ☆プチ) magazine , recognized as the number one publication for girls' fashion, is causing controversy among mothers . The manga section offers five different stories as part of a collaboration with another magazine, and included in this issue was a piece titled “ Dekiai Royale ” by author Chitose Yagami.

Criticism goes on the fact that this story includes dialogues like “ Do you want the princess to sleep with you? ”And other sexually explicit language, as well as scenes where a kiss is forced on the protagonist without her giving her consent. Many fathers and mothers of families have become angry with these types of stories that primary school girls still should not have access to.

Nico Petit (ニコ☆プチ) magazine is published by Shinchosha Publishing. The contents vary from how to make up, comb your hair, fix your nails and dress, especially aimed at girls of primary school age. The issue in question was released last month and included the aforementioned manga, a brush with a mirror, a hair clip, and other items.

On the other hand, the controversial story of Dekiai Royale tells the story of Kagura Itsuki, the princess daughter of the Demon King who now lives in the human world, and who is being courted by her three beautiful childhood friends. The setting is a summer hotel, and there are scenes where they appear in bathing suits and they look at the princess with lustful eyes.

There is an exchange of dialogues that caught our attention, where the princess asks one of the boys: " Why are men so perverted? ", and they answer:" It would be nice if the princess was perverted too, with us ". And she replies: " That won't happen ", to which they answer: " Why? It would be nice to have a little sex. Should we make the princess go dirty with us? “. And although the princess refused, she was forced into a kiss.

The mother of an elementary school girl subscribed to Nico Petit (ニコ☆プチ) magazine said that she “inspected” the contents before handing them over to her daughter, and revealed her thoughts on Twitter: “ Romance stories have always been included, and even one that another quite graphic. I can understand a story aimed at girls that includes a confession or a consensual kiss. But, is talking about sex okay with you? “. She mentioned that her daughter asked her for the manga section of the magazine, but she didn't allow her to read it.

Several women took note of the criticism on social media, mentioning: “ Completely out of place ”, “ If it was sex education, I would agree ”, and “ It would be better to explain it when they are mentally enough to understand it ”. Others were more lax about the content: “ I remember reading Yagami-sensei's stories when she was in elementary school with overflowing excitement ”, “ Inspect the product? And how long will you let your daughter read that kind of content? ", and " Yagami-sensei taught me to identify the guys who just wanted to take advantage of me ."
