On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light
novels written by Honobonoru500 and illustrated by Nama, The
Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash (Saijaku Tamer
wa Gomi Hiroi no Tabi wo Hajimemashita ), the second promotional video
for the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is
scheduled for January 12, 2024 in Japan, and reveals more details of the
voice cast and production team.
Honobonoru500 began publishing the novels
through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in August
2018, and later began its paper publication through the publisher TO Books in November
2019. A manga adaptation by since February 2020. Comic Corona has
been in publication through the service Tou Fukino

Trash
When Ivy was born into this world, she remembered her
past life. Remembering her pre-incarnation, she strove to avoid conflict. But
fate took shape at the status check, when children learn who they are. Because
she only had one skill - Taming - and not a single star. Ivy was weak from the
beginning: at most, she could tame a slime. And in her world, most people
didn't give their time to the weak. Only one woman in her village treated her
as if she were her own. But after Ivy “died,” she took her hint and ran away
from her house. While she was running away, she met a little slime and named
him Sora. And so begins the moving survival story of a little girl who knows
how to tame beasts.
