On the official site for the upcoming original anime from
Doga Kobo studios , titled “ Jellyfish
Can't Swim in the Night ( Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai )”,
the main promotional video for the project was revealed. The video confirms
more members of the cast and production team, and lists that the
premiere is scheduled for April 6 in Japan.
New voice cast members include:
- Sumire Uesaka as Miiko.
- Miho Okasaki as Mero Setou.
- Yukina Shutou as Momoko Yanagi.
- Sally Amaki as Akari Suzumura.
Sinopsis of Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night
“I want to discover what I like.” Shibuya, a city full of
identities. A girl who wanders around the Shibuya District at night and can't
become anything, begins to change after a special encounter with someone else.
A coming-of-age story by Ryouhei Takeshita, director of “Eromanga Sensei,” and
Yuki Yaku, author of “Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun,” presented by Doga Kobo, which
celebrates her fiftieth anniversary. The girls' creative and anonymous
activities finally begin.
