From the author of DanMachi, Wistoria: Wand and Sword will have an anime

A press release announced that the manga written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Toshi Aoi , “ Wistoria: Wand and Sword ( Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria ),” will have an anime adaptation. The statement listed production details and the voice cast, and confirmed that the premiere is scheduled for the Summer-2024 season (July-September) in Japan.


Fujino Omori
 , who is also the author of the “ Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka? ( DanMachi: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? )”, the publication of the manga began through the magazine Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from the Kodansha publisher in December 2020, where it is still in publication.

Sinopsis of Wistoria: Wand and Sword

Will Serfort dreams of fulfilling the promise he made to a childhood friend and becoming Magia Vander, one of the powerful wizards who sit atop the Wizard Tower. However, he is unable to cast the simplest of spells, forcing him to fight dungeon monsters to earn credits at the Regarden Magic Academy. As if that were not enough, he is forced to test his sword skills against a bully professor.
