A press release
announced that the manga written and illustrated by Oshioshio ,
“ My Deer
Friend Nokotan ( Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan )”,
will have an anime adaptation that will premiere during the Summer-2024
season (July-September) in Japan, specifically next July 7th .
The statement revealed production details and the participating voice cast.
For his part, Oshioshio began
publishing the manga through Kodansha's Shonen Magazine
Edge magazine in November 2019. The author also participates as a
designer in franchises such as “ Holo no Graffiti “, “ Hololive
Alternative “, and “ Tenshi not Agape .”
Sinopsis
of My Deer Friend Nokotan
No one
knows that Torako used to be a criminal. All of her classmates only know her as
the perfect student. But everything changes when Nokotan, a transfer student
with horns, enters her life. The antlers aren't the only strange thing about
Nokotan. His deer nose can sniff out Torako's secret past. Whether at school or
the zoo, chaos follows this doe-eyed girl's every step. Torako has many
questions. Is Nokotan a deer, a girl, or something in between?
