On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi , “ Boku no Hero Academia ( My Hero Academia )”, a new promotional video was revealed for the fourth original film in the franchise, titled “ Boku no Hero Academia: The Movie – You Are Next ” and with its premiere scheduled for August 2 in theaters in Japan .

The video shows the new original villain “ Dark Might ”, who looks like “ All Might ” and who curiously is also played by Kenta Miyake . This new film will feature a completely original (i.e. non-canonical) story written by author Kohei Horikoshi , who also supervises the project and character design, while the plot will develop in the same timeline as the seventh season of the series. anime , which will premiere on May 4 in Japan.


For his part, Horikoshi began publishing the Boku no Hero Academia manga in Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2014 and entered its final story arc in March 2021.
