The Ichijinsha publisher reported through its official
media that the thirteenth volume of the manga written and illustrated by Shiromanta ,
“ My
Senpai is Annoying ( Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi )”,
will be the last. Although this volume does not yet have a scheduled release
date, it is understood that the manga's story is about to end ,
considering that the volumes are released several weeks after the chapters they
contain are published.
For his part, Shiromanta began publishing the manga
through the Comic POOL service of the Ichijinsha publisher
in July 2018. He later won first place at the Next Manga Awards 2018
in the “Web Manga” category, and to date he has added more than 1.5 million
copies in circulation.
In addition, the work was adapted to
anime by Doga Kobo studios in a twelve-episode
series released during the Fall-2021 season (October-December) .
Although the story and animation style were quite appreciated, and there is no
doubt that it had one of the most popular opening sequences of its
season, to date there is no news about a sequel .
Sinopsis of My Senpai is Annoying
At a certain trading company, saleswoman
Futaba Igarashi has managed to maintain her respectable job for almost two
years thanks to the guidance of her more senior co-worker, Harumi Takeda.
However, due to Igarashi's short stature, Takeda often teases her and treats
her like a child, leaving Igarashi constantly annoyed by her antics. Despite
this, Igarashi notices Takeda's reliability, that he is always willing to help
when something goes wrong at her workplace. As Igarashi and Takeda spend more
time together, their relationship goes beyond just being office mates.
